Mark Scherr, FSA, MAAA, Partner & Consulting Actuary
Mark has practiced as a healthcare actuary since 1990. He began his career in the healthcare division of the Ohio Department of Insurance as a regulator. He then spent six years at Anthem as a managed care pricing actuary and obtained his actuarial credentials. Mark relocated to the Atlanta area in 1998 with his family and began his consulting career. He was employed with EY, Aon Hewitt, Mercer, and Willis Towers Watson prior to forming Meticura in 2017.
Throughout Mark’s consulting career, he has worked across a wide range of clients and industries, helping them manage all financial and actuarial functions of their self- insured health and welfare plans. Over the last 12 years he has developed a specialization in working with Public Entity Risk Pools as their lead actuary and underwriter.
Mark is a graduate of The Ohio State University and majored in Finance. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and holds a State of Georgia Accident and Sickness Resident Agent License.

One half of his brain is busy art directing and crafting beautiful, immersive experiences – the other half is a Xavier University Entrepreneurial M.B.A. whose attention to detail allows him support growth and transformation.
Kendra Fox, FSA, MAAA, Consulting Actuary
Kendra has practiced as a healthcare actuary since 1995. She began her career with Anthem and obtained her actuarial credentials. Kendra then held management roles at Pacificare, Ingenix, and Humana. She has also worked as a consultant under Risk Managment Resources, LLC.
Kendra has developed an expertise in financial analysis, provider contracting, risk adjustment and benchmark development, health benefit planning and pricing, insurance regulations, rate filings, reserving, reporting, and risk management.
Kendra is a graduate of Purdue University and majored in Actuarial Science. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
